The Company has appointed Richard Belanger, (currently a systems

consultant and senior trainer) to Chief Technology Officer. The firm also

announced the appointment of Jean Marie Carson (formerly of American

Express Travel Services) to Corporate Travel Manager for the company’s

Travel Department. Additionally, the Company has promoted Justin Barrett

(currently Senior Recruiter) to Operations Coordinator, and Jennifer Darna,

(currently Customer Services Representative on the IBM account) to the

position of Customer Representative for Northeast Region accounts.

Two Appointments Announced

Richard Belanger brings an impressive record of 25 years in IT Trainer

Consulting, Instruction and Development and the military to his new position

as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Instructor Consultant. As Senior

Trainer Consultant for The Training Associates, Mr. Belanger has been one of

the most in-demand technical consultants and senior instructors for America’s

top training providers. Previously, his experience includes Senior Staff

Technical Consultant for Eastman Kodak and Technical Training Manager for

Tandy Corporation’s Computer City retail operations. In the military, he was a

Flying Squadron Commander in the U.S. Air Force, holding the rank of Lt.

Colonel. Mr. Belanger holds an MS in Systems Management from the

University of Southern California and a BS in Biochemistry from the University

of Michigan. Professional IT Certifications include MCSE, MCDBA, MCSD

and MCT.

Jean Marie Carson brings over 17 years of experience in the Travel industry.

Prior to joining The Training Associates, Ms. Carson served as Travel

Coordinator for American Express Travel Services at EMC Corporation, and

previously held similar positions at Data General Corporation, Stratus

Computer Corporation and American Express Travel Services/Thomas Cook.

Ms. Carson holds a B.S. degree in marketing from the University of

Massachusetts at Amherst.

Two Promotions Announced

Justin Barrett, previously Senior Recruiter for Permanent and Contract

Trainers has been promoted to Operations Coordinator. Mr. Barrett has held

positions of increasing responsibility since joining the firm in 1998, and is now

responsible for coordinating Customer Service & Trainer Representative

activities, internal systems training, and recruiting, including trainers and staff

personnel. Previously, he was a successful Sales Consultant at Kraft Foods

managing key retail accounts. Mr. Barrett attended Worcester State College.

Jennifer Darna, formerly Customer Representative on the IBM account, has

been promoted to Customer Representative for Northeast Region accounts.

Ms. Darna has over 8 years of experience in the Customer Service industry.

Prior to The Training Associates, Ms. Darna was a Customer Service

Specialist for UNUM/Provident Insurance at the firm’s Maine headquarters,

and held a similar position at IDEXX, the veterinary laboratory services firm

that operates Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Ms. Darna

attended the University of Maine.
